I got the mount for in my patrol car because we have to se hands free. I have an infuse 4G, which I believe is the largest cellphone there is other than tablets. On top of that I have an otter box. This mint is the only one I've found that will open wide enough for my phone. The suction cup as held goo so far, but I have it stuck to the console of my car and not the windshield because of the heat. Over all I have nothing bad to say about it in the first 2 weeks of owning/using it.
