Blackberry Trackball Replacement Kit - Pink

Today I will show you how to replace your track ball on your Blackberry device
This is, some of our, one of our track ball that we have right now
We do have the OEM one but the other colors are not actually OEM's aftermarket products
We have, I believe, in red, blue, green, I think also on pink
The OEM one is in white
These are universal and I am gonna install it on my Blackberry 8900
First of all, you need the proper tools to actually open your Blackberry
Please do understand that when you do open your Blackberry, you know, the warranty is gone
Because you will have to remove some screws, and that is the one the sticker
I mean, you can try to keep it as clean as possible and put it back on
But in this case, you know, I'm gonna replace my vessel
So, no matter what, they know it's not the OEM product anymore
Anyways, first of all you might wanna turn off your phone
Since it's gonna take a while for my phone to turn off, I'm just gonna take off the battery
It's not recommended to do so
Also, do understand that we do not sell these vessels
This is just like some personal things that I like to do
And once the _______ off, you can't come back to Blackberry and say, hey my phone is not working anymore
And AccessoryGeeks.com also do not, is not responsible when you open your phone
So, first thing that you might want to know
There are gonna be six screws, over here, on your phone
This is, again, on the Blackberry 8900 or the Javelin
This is, you gonna need to use the T-6 screwdriver, right here

First thing you wanna do is pop this bottom part open
And you're gonna need a really-really small Philips set or you're gonna need the pry tool that we have on AccessoryGeeks.com
Just stick it here, it should easily just pop-off
And you can see, there's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 screws
My friend remove this sticker carefully so I can stick it back in
Put it somewhere
Then try to screwing it
Again, do not attempt to do this while your phone with the battery on 'cause it might actually break the phone
You always need some type of rag or, I would recommend micro fabric cloth on the bottom of your workspace
So when you do have like screws and stuff, it doesn't fly out anywhere
And as you can see, it just hops right off, just like that
Everything aside
This will probably come off too
Carefully remove the component and this case, for me, as the vessel
And this is where your track ball is located
As you can see it's the same size
Just place it there to replace it
It should fit right through
If you notice, there is no protection on the screen
So you might wanna get a screen protector
We do have those as well
I am going to replace the vessel
I'm gonna take this off carefully
There are 2 tabs over here that you have to transfer over to the vessel
But, since this is an instruction only for the trackball, I'm not gonna do that
What you wanna do is, again, put the trackball originally placed like how was before
Put it back on the vessel
And repeat, you know, just backtrack on what you need to do
