This snaps on to the front so you can slide that open and reveal your keyboard and it will protect the front as well as the back of your HTC Evo Shift 4G.
So as you can see everything is protective.
All the ports are still open as well as your speaker system and the keyboard is still sides out preserving the functionality of it.
