MOT-V171 FULL HOUSING INSTALLATION

1. These are required tools need to change your Motorola V171 Faceplate.
|
|
|
|
2. Remove the battery door, battery, and antenna.
|
|
|
|
3. Remove the battery housing - Motorola V171. |
|
|
|

5. Push the yellow tag up from Motorola V171 Faceplate component. |
|
|
|

7. Stick your pick into the middle cover of Motorola V171 Faceplate corner. |
|
|
|
8. Take out the hinge from the face plate. |
|
|
|
9. Remove the LCD monitor from the front faceplate, using your pick to lift up both metal components - Motorola V171. |
|
|
|
10. Take the yellow connector out of the front faceplate |
|
|
|
11. Motorola V171 should now be disassembled and removed from each other. Remember to keep all screws and miscellaneous material. |
|
|
|
12. Now replace your new faceplate covers. |
|
|
|
13. Take the yellow connector and string it through the new Motorola V171 Faceplate. |
|
|
|
14. Attach the yellow connector onto the component to your LCD monitor. |
|
|
|
15. Put your spring into the new Motorola V171 Faceplate. |
|
|
|
16. Screw the LCD cover back onto the monitor. |
|
|
|
17. Pop the top part of Motorola V171 back into the keypad cover. |
|
|
|
18. You should have the top of Motorola V171 attached to your keypad cover. Get the Battery housing, keypad and the plate with all the components. |
|
|
|
19. Put the keypad onto the keypad cover and then reattach the plate with components onto the phone. Plug the yellow connector onto the component of the plate. |
|
|
|
20. Attach the Battery housing into Motorola V171 plate with components using the screws. |
|
|
|
21. Put your battery back into your phone, screw in your antenna and pop the back faceplate cover onto the phone. |
|
|
|
22. You now have complete the process of installing a Motorola V171 faceplate cover. |
