I've had to get this case twice, but it was worth it and here's why:

The one point of failure was not that the case cracked, or that it shattered, or that my phone was damaged in any way; it was near the charging area, right where there's that little sliver of hard plastic that forms the edge.

That's right, right there, visible in the second and fourth pictures, was the only part in both cases to show damage, ever. The first time it cracked along the seam between the two case halves. that bit later came off and I only replaced it because I was too lazy to soften the edge with a file.

Now, before we get into the next case I put through the wringer, take note: This case will make your phone bounce, as put forth by chris. And that's a good thing.

The next case I purchased broke in exactly the same spot. The only damage to my phone, and the reason I'm getting a Ballistic case from my new S4, was in the Micro USB charge slot.

I will continue to buy from Ballistic--and as soon as Accessory Geeks carries their S4 case, from the Geeks. <3
