Built to last and last

I have been wanting this clip since a friend had one for an iphone a while back. I made the mistake of buying the Ballistic one in an airport coming back from my wedding. Not that it was bad but the case options were horrible and massive. And I broke the case the first week I had it. I am hoping what a reviewer earlier said does not happen to me because I have a friend that has had this phone and case for a solid year doing construction 6 days a week with no issues.

Pros:
Durability, dependable, will not have to worry about messing up another company phone

Cons:
Price a little high

If you work (or play) in a rugged environment while wearing the phone and holster on your belt, be very careful not to snag the holster on anything that won't give way easily. You'll snap the belt clip right off, as I did. The hinge points are plastic, and do not respond well to being pulled on with a little force. (Me passing by a hanging extension cord too close, and getting it caught behind the holster's edge. As soon as I felt the tug, the belt clip let go.) I'll order another holster, but I'll bet the phone will rest in a toolbag of pocket during the workday, unfortunately. That means now I'll see how durable the screen protector is. I would have thought being "the toughest" case/holster Otterbox makes would have meant a bit more metal used in the places that might be subject to some stress besides being opened and closed. I'll recommend the case to others, but with my cautions noted here.

But I am impressed with AccessoryGeek and am now recommending them as the site to visit.

Pros:
The fit of the silicone/ABS armoring around the phone is pretty good. Obviously some decent engineering went into the design.

Cons:
Some of the silicone edges should be glued to a hard plastic latching edge. They tend to work open and gap when carried out of the holster.

The holster belt clip needs tougher material used at hinge/stress points. They break way too easily for anyone being active.
