A Belt clip is simply a clip which can be attached or detached to the back of the Hard case. A belt clip sometimes comes with the case when you purchase it, but it is an optional item to be used or not.

If you would like to have a belt clip available for the case, always check the back of Hard case. If it is a smooth backing without the swivel belt clip base, then it does have the function of a belt clip available. But if there is a swivel belt clip base, you may or may not use the belt clip. However, the swivel belt clip base can also be easily removed or installed if it is there originally.

A Rubberized Hard case, snap on cover is the same and yet complete different than a regular Hard case. A Rubberized Case actually has a rubber silicone like feel to it so it proves to be much smoother and soft. It also has a Rubberized coating unlike Hard cases. A Rubberized Hard case also presents a nice tight snug of phones inside the case.
If you would like to have a belt clip available for the case, always check the back of Rubberized case. If it is a smooth backing without the swivel belt clip base, then it does have the function of a belt clip available. But if there is a swivel belt clip base, you may or may not use the belt clip. However, the swivel belt clip base can also be easily removed or installed if it is there originally.

An integrated Hard case face plate with touch screen is just like a Hard case except it has one new special addition to it. It provides protect to the LCD screen also. These kinds of cases are especially popular with phones which use a touch screen like the LG VU or Apple 3G iPhone. Touch screens still work perfectly even with the Hard case and touch screen protection.
Integrated Hard cases with touch screen have a swivel belt clip base available on the back, but some do not come with a belt clip even the function is available. Users would have to buy their own belt clip for the belt clip function if wanted.

A Metal Hard case, face plate is actually a metal case with inner Hard or neoprene linings. The newer Metal Hard cases have inner Hard lining while some older version of metal Hard cases have a neoprene lining.
Some metal Hard cases comes with a hole available on the back of the case for a belt clip, but in some cases, a belt clip is not provided so users would need to purchase their own belt clip.

A leather Hard case, snap on cover comes with bother leather and Hard thus providing more durable strengthened protection of the phone. The outside texture of the case has the same feel of leather while the inside is Hard giving the case a tight and snug fit.
Like-wise, some leather Hard cases come with a belt clip. This will be much noticeable because a leather Hard case with a belt clip has an attached swivel belt clip base. If the case does not have an attached swivel belt clip base, then the back of the case will be flat and smooth.
