The Wilson Cellular Wireless Amplifiers allow one or more users to benefit from an outside antenna and amplifier without a physical connection to the cell phone. This eliminates the need for an external antenna connection on the cell phone.

Installation Options:

• Option A (in car, Boat & RV): The inside antenna (interior low profile antenna) should be mounted 1 foot or less from where the phone is to be used. The best place to mount the inside antenna is shoulder height on the side of the drivers seat. The closer the inside antenna is placed to the phone, the better the performance. Do not mount the interior antenna within 4" of metal.

Wireless Cell Phone Amplifier vs Direct Connection Amplifier?

The Wilson Cellular Wireless Amplifiers and Direct Connection Cell Phone Amplifiers perform comparably in urban situations. Both amplifiers transmit up to 3 Watts of power to the cell site and receive a signal as weak as -110dBm. For rural applications, the direct connect (inline) cell phone amplifier will perform better and is recommended.
